As the adopted son of a police officer and military veteran, Coach Mikhail is passionate about giving back to those who serve our country.

With over 15 years of experience grappling and 13 years providing instruction and coaching, Mikhail is a black belt under 9X World Champion Denilson Pimenta and has dedicated his career to both competing and teaching, training extensively in Gi and No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu.

At Freedom Jiu-Jitsu of Pensacola, the focus is entirely on No-Gi, offering students fast-paced, practical skills while building resilience, confidence, and community. Most importantly, he gives all the glory to God for the gifts, strength, and health that allow him to do what he loves.

Mikhail has taught at five schools across FL and competed nationally against elite black belts, MMA fighters, and UFC athletes. Since 2024, he has proudly brought his experience and passion to the heart of Pensacola, FL. Running his own No-Gi academy and helping veterans, first responders, and students of all levels grow not just on the mats, but in character, faith, and purpose.
